Ironwrought / About
Ironwrought is an independent Draw Steel video game
Ironwrought is a single-player tactical RPG. It has authored campaigns and replayable roguelike runs. It uses MCDM's Draw Steel rules: power rolls, class resources, forced movement, conditions, and grid combat. You can play without a GM.
What is the Draw Steel video game?
"Draw Steel video game" can mean two different things. MCDM's official Draw Steel VTT is for tabletop play. Ironwrought is a separate PC game built on the same rules.
Ironwrought is published under the DRAW STEEL Creator License. It is not made by, owned by, or affiliated with MCDM Productions, LLC.
What do you do in Ironwrought?
Build a party and read the battlefield. Resolve attacks with a Draw Steel power roll. Push, pull, or slide enemies into hazards. Spend class resources and use terrain to improve your position.
Play The Broken Crown. It has story cards, rests, milestone level-ups, a branching route, and a finale. You can also open Campaign Builder, place your own nodes, add encounters, and play the result.
Start a procedural run when you want a new route. Recoveries, injuries, and earned titles carry forward. You can build heroes outside a run.
Classes and availability
The first release has four playable classes: Fury, Censor, Shadow, and Troubadour. More of the Draw Steel roster is planned for later updates.
Ironwrought is coming soon to Steam for PC and SteamOS/Linux. It is single-player. Multiplayer is not shipped.
